Tidal Transfer of Momentum

The moon is like a marble rolling around and around on the curved surface of a roulette wheel. The moon possesses ‘conserved momentum' and just as NASA sends spacecraft to Jupiter with the engines turned off, and allows those craft to coast all the way as they travel through space, so the moon simply coasts around and around the roulette wheel. A marble on a roulette table would coast around forever and a day, if it wasn't for friction, which robs that marble of momentum. The moon is not attached to the earth by a gravitational lasso. Earth's gravity does not spin the moon around and around like Roy Rogers spinning a lasso. The moon experiences zero G forces, just like any other object moving through the earth's gravitational field. Short zero G experiments can be conducted on jets diving into free fall. The moon is in free fall, coasting around the roulette wheel, and the ‘tug of gravity' from the earth has nothing to do with the moon's orbit around the earth.

Every year the moon moves up a little higher on the roulette wheel, as the moon manages to rob the earth of momentum, climbing up into a higher orbit at a rate of about 3 centimeters per year. If we wish to understand transfer of momentum directly to momentum fields (and bypass the crude method of burning up matter as a round about way of reaching the same goal) it seems like a good idea to study examples of this transfer in nature. The following model is oversimplified and does not include the influence of the sun.

The diagram above shows the wave form interference pattern generated by two point sources. The greatest interference (the waves cancel each other out or interfere with each other) is concentrated in a narrow range. If we were considering the earth moon system, such gravitational wave cancellation would be greatest wherever the moon is positioned directly overhead.


The moon does not experience any downward force from the earth's gravitational field. The moon is perfect. The moon is in orbit. Its momentum field is in the perfect state. It is at the correct orbital energy level. The gravitational field is a field of motion, and the moon is moving. It is moving perfectly. The earth never tries to pull down on the moon. The earth will push down on you if you are sitting in a chair, because you are not moving. You are not perfect. If you want to be perfect and not be pushed down you must be in orbit or you must be moving towards orbit. The correct place for you to be in orbit, at your present velocity (rotating on the surface of the earth) lies somewhere down below the visible surface of the earth. You will be pushed into orbit, even when you are not moving but are just sitting in a chair.

The earth is not in orbit around the moon. The earth is imperfect. Therefore the moon must constantly attempt to push the earth. The earth does not generate tidal forces on the moon. You do not see cracks and other evidence of stress all over the surface of the moon, because the moon is perfect and does not need any attention from the earth. The earth, however, needs a lot of attention from the moon because it is not in orbit. It seems like a stationary body. Therefore you see lots of evidence of tidal forces on earth. The moon must try to push the earth into the correct orbital position around the moon. The result of this futile effort are the tides on the earth. The earth is just like an airplane to the moon, and just as an airplane must be robbed of momentum and forced to crash onto the earth, so, too the earth must also be robbed of momentum so that it can crash onto the surface of the moon. It is for this reason that the moon becomes an earth robber rather than the other way around.

The gravitational wave function of the moon generates destructive interference with the gravitational wave function of the earth, the effect being the greatest when the moon is directly overhead. The result is a reduction in the wave function of the earth's gravitational field.

We assume an equivalence between energy and space exists, in that the three dimensional warped space field is just one more manifestation of that chameleon known as energy. We assume that as the density of the field dilates, space dilates (since a certain amount of energy is equivalent to a certain amount of space). We can see this spatial dilation in the image of the Smith Hydrogen Cloud as the forward leading edge of that cloud plunges deeper into the field of our galaxy, the Milky Way. The cloud is so enormous that the tail end remains in more dilated space. The leading edge is conforming to the increasing density of the field by showing evidence of decreased dilation, while at the same time there is a relativistic temperature increase visible. We assume that momentum is relative (objects experience a relative increase in momentum as they accelerate in a gravitational field). Therefore all processes are relative. The Smith Hydrogen Cloud always possessed this temperature potential, but temperature is relative and so it expresses this potential with more intensity as it enters a more intense section of the energy field.

Gravitational wave interference has nullified the moon's gravitational pull. The moon cannot pull on the ocean waters. However the effect has also reduced the earth's gravitational field potential. The result is the creation of a pocket of dilated space. Hot air expands. It needs more room. The ocean retains its momentum but it now exists in a pocket of dilated space. The result is a relative increase in momentum, a relative acceleration. The ocean is unable to expand, because it is in a pocket of dilated space surrounded by a stronger and more denser field. The path of least resistance is chosen, and the ocean expands towards the moon. Even this is not enough and the ocean has become overly energetic, too energetic for this pocket of dilated space. As a result the ocean must release momentum energy. The result must be the creation of a pocket of cool water following in the wake of the tidal upsurge, the result of a relativistically induced loss of temperature. In this way the moon would top off its momentum with a little bit of solar energy converted into relative mass.

This pocket has also decelerated and so it must be pushed back up to speed, and the energy for this transfer comes from the earth's angular momentum, with the result being that the rotation of the earth slows a minuscule amount, and the length of a day becomes a tiny fraction of a second longer each year. It is also quite possible that ocean water nearer the surface accelerates out of the pocket of dilated space altogether and then suddenly, after entering normal space, drops to a lower momentum state. The result would be the creation of a type of ‘energy vacuum' in the dilated pocket, which would then receive a donation from the earth's field. As well, because this is a pocket of dilated space, it will be perceived as a discontinuity in the earth's field which requires correction, once again requiring a donation of energy.


So we can see that step one in the process of transferring momentum from momentum field to momentum field is the creation of a dilated space within the donor field created by wave form interference on the part of the receiving field.

What must follow next is the creation of a ‘voltage potential' in the receiving field, for it is obvious that the donated energy is going to flow from field to field with the net result that it increases the momentum of the receiver. This part I am not one hundred percent certain about, but it would seem to me that the receiver receives a donation at the same time as the sender is donating to the sender, the reason for it being that wave form interference has caused the two fields to become perceived as ‘blended' into one field. In this way as the earth was going about topping off what it perceived as a hole in its field, it would also be donating into the moon's field, because the two fields became one during the wave form interference, and the reality of the situation was that no real deficit existed, since the perceived deficit was actually an effect caused by the moon's gravitational wave interaction. Because the gravitational warped space field resembles a magnetostatic bubble, the process would be similar to that of transfer of energy between two magnetostatic fields.
