Fusion and the Warping of Space
I want to construct a device to create new materials with specific atomic densities. This will require enormous amounts of energy. For obvious reasons I will scratch this idea.
I do know one good source for gazillions of BTU. The hydrogen atom. What I want to do is to use fusion to create new materials, thus sparing myself the problem of trying to think about where I could possibly find gazillions of BTU. I want to imitate what happens inside a star. I want to use a magnetic field to ‘warp space’ and pull the hydrogen atom away from its normal ‘red-shifted’ space so that the hydrogen will undergo relativistic heating as its density increases, thus providing the match that ignites the fusion reactions that take place in stars.
