In order to create an artificial gravity we must seal off an internal environment from the effects of the surrounding energy field. There are two possibilities that come to mind to accomplish this task. The first would be to surround the internal environment with engineered phosphorescent material. A second possibility might be to electrify the outside of a metal box, which, if it works, would be the most convenient method given what is possible at this stage of development of our technology.

Inside the enclosed environment we would have Newton’s apple sitting on a weigh scale, with the magnet shown in blue. If the environment is sealed it should be possible to use the magnet to create an artificially stretched gradient in the enclosed energy field and measure a difference in ‘weight’ in Newton’s apple sitting on the scale.
