Redundant Religion

Prophecy

On Sunday morning, October 25, 2009, I was instructed to deliver the following message.

Why are you so surprised? This must happen in order that the prophecy might be fulfilled, as it was said, "For YAHWEH God will arise and storm with rage, to do what must be done, to complete that task, the completely unexpected task, and to perform that deed-how alien to us are the true ways of God." (Isaiah 28:11)

Explanation

Now what does this mean? How could it be that the true ways of God would be so alien to religion that religion would not recognize or accept the works of God?

Let us consider the Living Resurrection. We know that resurrection is an alien concept to religion, in that resurrection bears no sensible relationship to ordinary everyday life according to the stultified anthropocentric view of some mundane human. Therefore it must be true that resurrection is a very mysterious and thus very spiritual doctrine. Now in order for some maudlin human to make sense out of something as obscure and pointless as a resurrection it is required that the human invent some kind of theology to explain why it would be the case that such a strange and entirely worthless good for nothing idea like a resurrection would nevertheless be found as the center piece of some divine strategy. Therefore we can understand that a crucifixion is kind of like wring the neck of some chicken and then offering that decapitated chicken corpse up as some kind of ritualistic sacrifice to God. In this way if someone owed a debt on their cosmic credit card this could be paid off in dead chicken blood. Since God was obviously wanting some blood, we could kill the divine chicken and then God's vengeful nature could be satiated by a drink of chicken blood, and apparently offering God a payment in the form of the wonderful shed blood of some decapitated chicken is a strategy that would only work if this was a divine chicken that was sacrificed, the divine chicken of God. It would be best if this blood was not ordinary blood, because it would lack the extra cleaning power of bleach, thus being an ineffective detergent agent, and so therefore it would be best if God was to incarnate as a hen so that God's blood could be shed when that hen's neck was wrung, thus giving us more bleach power to get those whites whiter than white.

This sort of speculative dogmatic nonsense will have to suffice as the true divine explanation for a resurrection because a resurrection is so ridiculous, so obscure, that it has no relevance to every day life. Therefore it requires some relevance, which means that relevance will once again have to be invented by those masters of invention, the religious theologians, and so we can see that resurrection is something for dead people, for the god of religion is always the god of the dead corpse, and so we can all look forward to having our ghosts resurrected in ghost heaven when we are dead. This is quite reasonable for the resurrection of the body is a totally stupid concept that bears no relationship to everyday maudlin human experience, while this dead ghost resurrection is spiritual and thus priceless. Yes, it is a priceless gift, this gift of religion, and therefore we can see how even something as iffy as waiting till you are dead is in fact an act of gracious generosity on the part of God, and so therefore the purpose of a resurrection is much like a shot of morphine to numb the pain while you wait as the priceless gift of Jesus comes to live inside your heart giving you that precious gift of religion, hope.

Of course in order to be granted this precious gift of hope you will first have to be damned and condemned by God, because no one hopes who is not experiencing the bitterness of cruel exile in the physical world, while they await the glorious potential hope of becoming a resurrected ghost in a much, much better place, such as that wonderful gift of God, that generous offer of ghost heaven when you are dead.

Therefore the task of religion is bully the human race into accepting doctrine, for the only way that this divine chicken blood can ever be used as a bleaching detergent is through the participation in the sacred ritual sacrament, since it is your personal responsibility to learn these doctrines for as it was said no one who believes the church doctrine gets to become a saved ghost when they are dead. We know all this is true because it is all based upon the rigidly literal interpretation of a line of poetry scrounged up out of the book of Isaiah combined with an equally rigid literalist interpretation of a metaphor from the gospel of John, which given the source, proves that this was inerrant absolute truth, and the right way to go about getting your ghost resurrected when you are dead. This salvation, this gloriously divine plan, was God's generous gift to all humanity when God blessed us with some fossilized musty moth eaten old book before God went on a long vacation and left everyone to play the coin toss guessing game of salvation while appointing scribes and pharisees to bully everyone into guessing the right answer to that guessing game on pain of being barbequed and stir fried for a trillion billion years for guessing wrong and not agreeing to the mind control group think of God as taught by those appointed messengers of God., those divine authoritarians, the scribes and the pharisees.

For it is just rule upon rule, line upon line, precept upon precept, law upon law, book quote upon book quote, here a little, there a little, so that as they walk they will trip and stumble and fall backwards and they will be injured, trapped and snared. For the very stone that the builders will reject God will employ as the cornerstone. This will be the work of God and it will marvelous to behold.

God's work will also be completely alien and God's tongue will sound like an unintelligible foreign language to religion, but why should anyone be surprised, because the stone was rejected by the builders because it was a foreign, alien stone.

Now let us change the subject and discuss redundant religion. Not only is religion a pile of ridiculous nonsense, the product of faithless unbelief combined with an over active imagination applied like a coat of white wash, religion is also totally redundant, which means that religion is unnecessary. We know this is true because religion is rejected by God and therefore there is no living God, only that idol, the god of the dead to be found here. For as it was said, ‘God's arm is not weak nor is it to difficult a task for God to save, but rather you are in exile and cut off from the presence of God because of your sinful religion.' For to be redundant, and yet claim authority, is to be very, very sinful, and the appropriate just judgment of God is to completely forsake you and send you into a land as dark as death itself, the cruelest form of exile imaginable, since only such shocking cruelty is the appropriate response to the ornery stubbornness of that dreadful religious dogmatism.

Let us consider an example of redundant religion. Now this is the twenty first century and so we no longer believe that a Living Resurrection was the work of Casper the Friendly Holy Ghost, but rather we understand that a Living Resurrection is the product of Biological Algorithms, and is a consequence of what can be called ‘the placebo effect'. What this means is that faith plays a role and that you must believe, for as that Jesus used to tell people, unless you believe you perish. Those towns that did not have faith were those towns where none of those reported healing results took place.

Now let us consider the example of Alice, the Roman Catholic. She is not very modern. She remains bogged down in the dark ages, and believes in ghosts and spooks and so on. She prays to Saint Agnus of Lavernia, and then, in a stupendous supernatural miracle, the tumor on the kidney of Alice disppears. Saint Agnus of Lavernia then healed Jack of the pain of psoriasis, and because this was the second time, the scientific investigation of the Vatican in Rome concluded that this was decisive scientific proof of the active presence of the spiritual ghost of Saint Agnus, and she thus was declared a Saint.

Now we know that the Vatican is practicing psuedo-science, because there was this atheist by the name of Arthur, and Arthur even though he was an atheist had this profound belief that he could beat the cancerous lump on his liver. Arthur, as it turns out, was one of those 3 percent of spontaneous remissions of fatal illnesses that occur, the reason for which is one of the mysteries of medical science.

For the time being such things must remain a great mystery to medical science, for our medical science still believes in that narrow vision of the random mutation, and therefore is unaware that the 97 percent of the genome that does not code for protein is not therefore ‘junk DNA'. If biological algorithms do exist, then this implies the existence of a floppy disk, and so therefore what is often called ‘random genetic drift' could also be interpreted as using your mouse to choose ‘save' from the file menu.

We can see that being a Roman Catholic is an example of redundant religion, for while it was true that Alice was able to use the fiction of the ghost of Saint Agnus as a sort of trigger, this was a redundant step, just as it was a redundant step for people back in the first century to believe that they could be healed by Casper the Friendly Holy Ghost.

Someone might therefore argue that it is harmless to be a Roman Catholic, for while it is redundant, it can be a utilitarian function to be a Catholic. This might be true for that fractional percentage of the population who are able to believe in hackneyed primitive outdated nonsense, and if you really don't give a damn about the majority of humanity, then I suppose you could adopt the hard nosed attitude that humanity was created for the Catholic church.

What we have here is the classic example of the mind of a pharisee in operation. As those pharisees used to say, ‘six days there are to do the works of this Living Resurrection, BUT NOT ON THE SABBATH!!!!!'

Here we see that religion resembles placing a cart before the horse. Not only is it true that carts should not be shoved along by the snout of some horse, but it is also true that the cart itself was completely redundant, which only made matters worse, for the only purpose of such a cart was to carry around all the baggage of some religion. As for that bit about the heavy laden cart just loaded with baggage then being placed in front of the snout of some horse, it would appear that religious pharisees are just bullying bastards and first class assholes.

It would appear that the wrath of God is near, near and coming fast, for I have been instructed to issue an ultimatum to you people, which in effect was what that message was. For you have rejected the Living Resurrection and that means that you must endure the wrath of God, for all those who reject the child reject the parent, and God's wrath remains upon them, the reason for that being so obvious that I don't feel the need to say much more about it.

As it was predicted of such a people as this one, "I found by those who were not looking for me (such as the prostitutes and tax collectors). But as for the religious people, all day long I have held out my hands appealing to a stubbornly rebellious people who went off on their own evil way, They were a people who just perpetually kept on provoking me right to my face, carrying on with their vile practices, crouching among the tomb stones keeping vigil for their god of the dead, and drinking up pigs blood while their cauldrons were filled with their foul brew. I will fully repay you, says God Almighty, both for your sins and for the sins of your ancestors. I will first measure out your reward into a cup, and then I will repay you in full." For as it was said, "God saw that there was no one and God was outraged that no one intervened. Therefore in God's wrath, it was going to be God who intervened."

Therefore what is required is the acceptance of the reality of the exile, for God has rejected this redundant religion for thousands of years. Consider the behavior of your ancestors. The plan of God was never to oppress people with the baggage of religion. The plan of God was that the planet would become pregnant, and give then eventually the planet would give birth, and that the children who were born would then experience the Living Resurrection. However when God planted a vineyeard, and gave your ancestors the Living Resurrection, God received no wine from that worthless vineyard, and once again the null result was even more of that worthless redundant religion. One example of this is that if you are Catholic you can forfeit the Living Resurrection in exchange for some sacrament like the Eucharist, which would be to exchange the living truth for a redundant falsehood, for the Eucharist is the denial of the reality of God's judgment against that worthless vineyard, which is the reality of bitter exile cast off from the presence of the Living God. Your ancestors responded to the Living Resurrection with the charge of most damnable heresy followed by a crucifixion, and as it was said of such people, God would not respond with a loving embrace, thus showing how much God loves murderers, but rather God would kill those murderers and hurl them off the estate, which is what really happened. Where are your ancestors now?

For as it was said of that worthless good for nothing religious vineyard that produced no wine, and of the dogmatic religious murderers who destroyed that vineyard,

Many shepherds have destroyed my vineyard. They have taken away the pleasant place from my people and have replaced it with a heap of ruins. What more could I have done for these people? I planted a vineyard and fertilized the soil. I tended that vineyard with rake and hoe. But I received no wine. Therefore this is what I did with that vineyard. I commanded the clouds of heaven not to rain upon it. I knocked down its walls and let the foxes trample upon it. I no longer tended to it with rake or hoe but left it to become overgrown with thorns and thistle.

History repeats itself. The same process is underway today. Nothing has changed. You would think that after being so severely punished with such merciless exile in the land as dark as death for so many thousands of years, perhaps these people might have learned something from the bitter experience, but there is no sign that they have learned anything at all. This is unfortunate for it turns out that God does not grant you the Living Resurrection so that God can show you how lovely God can be by giving you a big hug after you do the crucifixion. Your ancestors crucified and they received no warm affectionate hug, thus proving how much God loved them, but rather your ancestors experienced the worst that the wrath of God has to offer, and spent thousands of years never finding a trace of mercy as they were left to commiserate and perhaps curse God in their hearts as they lived in the dry desert in that land that was dark as death.

It really is unwise to be constantly provoking God.
