Isaiah 17

12 Ah, the thunder of many peoples, they thunder like the thundering of the sea! Ah, the roar of nations, they roar like the roaring of mighty waters!
13 The nations roar like the roaring of many waters, but YAHWEH will rebuke them, and they will flee far away, chased like chaff on the mountains before the wind and whirling dust before the storm.
14 At evening time, behold, terror! Before morning, they are no more!

Isaiah 42

10 Sing to YAHWEH a new song, God's praise from the end of the earth! Let the sea roar and all that fills it, the coastlands and their inhabitants.
11 Let the desert and its cities lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar inhabits; let the inhabitants of Sela sing for joy, let them shout from the top of the mountains.
12 Let them give glory to YAHWEH, and declare God's praise in the coastlands.
13 YAHWEH goes forth like a mighty man, like a man of war who stirs up fury and cries out, shouts aloud, and shows himself mighty against his foes.

Isaiah 43

16 Thus says YAHWEH, who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters,17 who calls forth chariot and horse, army and warrior; they lie down, they cannot rise, they are extinguished, quenched like a wick:
18 "Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
20 The wild beasts will honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; for I give water in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my chosen people,

Isaiah 26

20 Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the wrath is past.

21 For behold, YAHWEH is coming forth out of a place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, and the earth will disclose the blood shed upon her, and will no more cover her slain.
1 In that day YAHWEH with a hard and great and strong sword will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisting serpent, and will slay the dragon that is in the sea.

Isaiah 63

1 Who is this that comes from Edom, in crimsoned garments from Bozrah, he that is glorious in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? "It is I, announcing vindication, mighty to save."
2 Why is thy apparel red, and thy garments like his that treads in the wine press?
3 "I have trodden the wine press alone, and from my people no one was with me; I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath; their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all my raiment.
4 For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and my year of redemption has come.
5 I looked, but there was no one to help; I was appalled, but there was no one to uphold; so my own arm brought me victory, and my wrath upheld me.
6 I trod down the peoples in my anger, I made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth."

Isaiah 30

27 Behold, the name of YAHWEH comes from far, burning with anger, and in thick rising smoke; with lips that are full of indignation, and a tongue like a devouring fire;
28 with breath like an overflowing stream that reaches up to the neck; to sift the nations with the sieve of destruction, and to place on the jaws of the peoples a bridle that leads astray.
29 But You shall have a song as in the night when a holy feast is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one sets out to the sound of the flute to go to the mountain of YAHWEH, to the Rock of Israel.
30 And YAHWEH will cause God's majestic voice to be heard and the descending blow of God's arm to be seen, in furious anger and a flame of devouring fire, with a cloudburst and tempest and hailstones.
31 They will be terror-stricken at the voice of YAHWEH, when God smites with the rod.
32 And every stroke of the staff of punishment which YAHWEH lays upon them will be to the sound of timbrels and lyres; battling with brandished arm God will fight with them.
33 For a burning place has long been prepared; yea, for the king it is made ready, its pyre made deep and wide, with fire and wood in abundance; the breath of YAHWEH, like a stream of brimstone, sets it ablaze.

Zephaniah 3

6 "I have cut off nations; their battlements are in ruins; I have laid waste their streets so that none walks in them; their cities have been made desolate, without a man, without an inhabitant.
7 I said, ‘Surely she will fear me, she will accept correction; she will not lose sight of all that I have enjoined upon her.’ But all the more they were eager to make all their deeds corrupt."
8 "Therefore wait for me," says YAHWEH, "for the day when I stand up to accuse you. For my decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them my indignation, all the heat of my anger; for in the fire of my jealous wrath all the earth shall be consumed.
9 "Yea, at that time I will change the speech of the peoples to a pure speech, that all of them may call on the name of YAHWEH.
