Martin Luther King, Liberator

There could not be one American who is not familiar with Martin, especially since he has his own holiday now, which means that everyone gets to take a day off, which helps to remind everyone in the country and get them thinking about Martin Luther King, something which, you might recall, really pissed off the capitalists of America, whose argument against giving Martin his own holiday was that it would be one more day off work, and thus result in lost productivity for America in the globalized market place, which as you are always reminded, is a new reality these days and with its tough challenges ahead, means that Americans really can't have unions and perhaps they should scale back their pensions as well, this globalization apparently being some evil and atrocious thing which results in all this damage, and it also means that they should not take a holiday for Martin Luther King, because the rest of the globe doesn't, thus resulting in America falling behind one day on the the rest of planet, which could prove hard to make up later, unless they agree to work one Sunday perhaps later on in the year to make up for it.

This being a good example of the ridiculous depths to which capitalists propaganda has sunk in America, something which slowly, and gradually as times goes by, gets people more and more pissed off all the time, as the Democrats found out late last year, when, suddenly, half way through that ridiculous offensive campaign of theirs they forced a robot candidate to insincerely repeat the results of the polls, which said that Americans were more than extremely pissed off at the Democrats, thus causing that candidate to promise some kind of vague health care, provided that, once he got in and had a chance to look at the books, it was economically feasible. So then while the Democrats tried some really inept populism at the tail end of that disaster they called a campaign they were not really ready to piss off that capitalist by committing themselves to anything specific, but nevertheless needing to make a very sudden and confusing u-turn in that campaign, apparently having started out thinking Americans wanted more war on terrorism, being just that out of touch with reality it woudl seem. To understand this one must comprehend the blindness of arrogant hubris that comes with power, which defiantly pitches out shit until met with some genuine rage, which is the only time you would ever see such a sudden detour, that having come as a bit of surprise, too, by the way, as you could tell by the way it played out.

Martin took a bullet because he was this black Christian minister who decided to see if maybe it might not be possible to perhaps ask a capitalist for some change for a cup of coffee and a sandwich. For making this very modest and small demand it has been said that Martin Luther King was no radical. And I am sure he was criticized for being no radical while he was alive as well, by those who kept telling him to take a hurry up and take a bullet instead of dragging that process of taking a bullet out for such a long time. For it turns out that if Martin had been a radical as people sometimes expected him to be, in order to be thorough, then he would have taken a bullet for sure, for we now that being no radical but a moderate he just wound up taking a bullet later because of that business about the sandwich, and I imagine if he would scaled back to a cup of coffee he probably would have still taken a bullet but it might have taken another year or two to happen.

Which isn't saying much for capitalists, or capitalism in general, which, along with that racists IMF and World Bank racist mumbo jumbo about the third world needing 'reforms', instead of liberation and justice, probably best explains why capitalists were pissed off about giving a holiday to Martin, although all that other stuff I already mentioned probably made them mad as well.

While it may not be the case that Martin was a radical, he was without any doubt, a true Christian minister, and not one of those quacks and frauds people have so much trouble putting up with and tolerating as they persistently try to destroy the country, pollute the courts even more than they already are, and so on. Martin was the cross carrying Christian, and at the end, when it came time for him to either keep carrying that cross or maybe put it away, he thought it over, and decided to be a Christian and carry that cross over the finish line. Who can ever forget that most stirring image where Martin Luther King told that vast crowd just shortly before he was gunned down, that he wasn't going to be going with them, and that they would have to carry on alone, and the crowd shouted out 'Np, no' and he lifted his hands and waved them to keep silent while shaking his head, 'no, no, no.' He knew it was time for him to be going and he went. And in a country like America with far to much deeply offensive hypocritical mumbo jumbo and nonsense about 'crosses', which is impossible to decipher because it confused theological drivel that means nothing, it is worth taking a day off for Martin Luther King, to think about that bullet and that cross and true courage, thus getting away from racism over time because of the power of that cross that minister was carrying, which is why he did not stop, but kept going. Because he knew.

And so therefore, in the grand sweep of history, as time goes by, it will become clearer that while Martin Luther King may not have been the radical, he was a liberator of the cruelly oppressed third world, because when he took a bullet, so did racism, and the brutality and theft meted out to the now ruined and impoverished third world has always been based upon racism, and such loathesome conduct cannot continue without that cover story, suddenly being revealed as loathesome rather than some kind of struggle or difficult uphill battle against great odds, which is the usual shit and drivel used as a cover story for the brutal oppression of the third world.

Which leads me to the discussion of something really scary, which is that, believe it or not, America has Christians, even if you don't see them on the airwaves, the airwaves being dominated by people who talk about crosses, usually in a way that makes no damned sense whatsoever, since they don't understand anything, being religious rather than Christians, which is fatal.

And the fact that America has Christians is a scary realization, if you stop to think about it, well, depending on who you are.

Now I know that capitalists are mad now, because they don't want to loose that big piece of pie to the Bolivians as one example, thus setting a bad precendent for how you really develop a country, which is to make sure not to get robbed by a capitalist or else you will wind up flat broke and in a third world state, which is the argument being made by the 'Bolivian people, by the way, in case you did not know, and is just simple common sense. So then you have a clear choice of giving pie to a capitalist, as though a capitalist needed pie, having a freezer full as it is, or giving justice to the third world.

Yes, I have been listening, and I know that capitalists are more than angry now, some of them in any case are breathing fire and making the most hair raising threats of brutal oppression, for example on thing I heard lately was the one about how because of the London bombing it is now required that there be no more free speech, or else a muslim might preach Islam, leading that capitalist to set off another bomb, this time in America, for as the American capitalist media is reminding us, a bombing is 'inevtiable' in America (end quote) which probably means that it is, given that Americans don't need free speech, or one must assume, perhaps a muslim, or even worse Christian ministers around the nation might preach sermons that would then lead to terror.

However, it could be difficult for capitalists to send cops to brutalize churches, troublesome churches who are where they shouldn't be when they shouldn't be there, and so on. I am not saying they are not stupid enough to do something like that, which would be good, you know if they would, when you stop to think about it.

You see, I have been holding a cup to the wall, you might say, and what I have heard has been interesting. Especially in some of those black churches. It seems to be just beginning, although it has to be one hundred per cent certain just how far along it really is, but I can assure you, it is going to be a problem. And that should scare some people who need some scaring, scaring them really good when they think about what that means.

Now I don't know if I am going to take a bullet. Of course I have thought about it, and rolled it around in mind. If I took a bullet, would there ever be trouble. Well that would shorten my trip by I don't how long. If I don't take a bullet it would probably just take longer, which tend to encourage a capitalist to consider taking a chance on that other really really big trouble thing I just mentioned. On balance, I can't decide. I am not like Martin. I don't know. You know they came around last November, and I assumed at the time that I was about to take a bullet just a few days before that time they came around last November, so when they showed up I wasn't surprised. Unfortunately I had company at the time, and when they my company, they decided to go away and not give me a bullet, and I don';t know if there plan was to come back in six or seven months and try again, you know to see if maybe they can catch me alone next time. I guess you would have to ask them about their plans. I am not Martin. I don't know.

I am also not like Martin in that I am carrying what you might call 'cross lite'. If you want to be a great hero and deserve to be one after becoming one you need to be Martin and carry "cross heavy." You can tell that Martin was carrying "cross heavy" because he was not a radical, which meant he really didn't want to go, but at the same time he knew that he had to go, and thus he had to carry "cross heavy/" Which makes him more than a hero.

I am not a hero. Do not confuse someone like me with a hero. Let me tell you about myself. I get up in the morning, put on my socks, grab my cross and put that on, throw on some pants, go and brush my teeth, and then dragging cross lite, maybe make a snack. Do you get the picture. Its called cross lite. You don't even mind putting on your cross lite in the morning because you hardly even know you are carrying a cross because that one is cross lite. When it comes time to reflect on carrying cross lite instead of thinking about whether or not that is something you can bear up under, you wind thinking an analysis, you know whether or not they could be that stupid, trying to judge the odds. But you never think about whether or not you should or shouldn't that not being an issue because it is cross lite.

The really scary thing is that I think I might have managed to talk some black ministers into carrying cross lite, or at least I am led to suspect that I may have pulled that one off, which should really scare the bejesus out of some people, because even one person carrying cross lite is bad enough, and I c an only imagine how much trouble that is going to be for them when that thing kind of catches on....
