The following passages give the chronology of events said to have taken place during the time of the Judges of Israel.
Years of the Judges in Israel Judges 3:8 Therefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Cushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia; and the people of Israel served Cushanrishathaim eight years.
Judges 3:11 So the land had rest forty years. Then Othniel the son of Kenaz died.
Judges 3:14 And the people of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years.
Judges 3:30 So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. And the land had rest for eighty years.
Judges 4:3 Then the people of Israel cried to the LORD for help; for he had nine hundred chariots of iron, and oppressed the people of Israel cruelly for twenty years.
Judges 5:31 "So perish all thine enemies, O LORD! But thy friends be like the sun as he rises in his might." And the land had rest for forty years.
Judges 6:1 The people of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD gave them into the hand of Midian seven years.
Judges 8:28 So Midian was subdued before the people of Israel, and they lifted up their heads no more. And the land had rest forty years in the days of Gideon.
Judges 9:22 Abimelech ruled over Israel three years.
Judges 10:2 And he judged Israel twenty-three years. Then he died, and was buried at Shamir.
Judges 10:3 After him arose Jair the Gileadite, who judged Israel twenty-two years.
Judges 10:8 and they crushed and oppressed the children of Israel that year. For eighteen years they oppressed all the people of Israel that were beyond the Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.
Judges 11:26 While Israel dwelt in Heshbon and its villages, and in Aroer and its villages, and in all the cities that are on the banks of the Arnon, three hundred years, why did you not recover them within that time?
Judges 12:7 Jephthah judged Israel six years. Then Jephthah the Gileadite died, and was buried in his city in Gilead.
Judges 12:9 He had thirty sons; and thirty daughters he gave in marriage outside his clan, and thirty daughters he brought in from outside for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years.
Judges 12:11 After him Elon the Zebulunite judged Israel; and he judged Israel ten years.
Judges 12:14 He had forty sons and thirty grandsons, who rode on seventy asses; and he judged Israel eight years.
Judges 13:1 And the people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD gave them into the hand of the Philistines for forty years.
Judges 15:20 And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.
Judges 16:31 Then his brothers and all his family came down and took him and brought him up and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the tomb of Manoah his father. He had judged Israel twenty years.
