Yesterday I mentioned that someone was pulling my leg by faking a photo of a frog floating in an antigravity field. The author read the essay, Are UFOs ridiculous? Do they violate the laws of physics? and then faked a floating frog photo. He then admitted to pulling my leg, but then sent me the following information, which I have added to the UFO essay.

I received a URL. I surfed over to the site and watched an mpeg of a floating frog, and so I post the URL he sent me here:

http://www.geocities.com/fusniakr/levitate.htm

The URL to the mpeg (about 1.5 megabytes) -> Floating Frog Mpeg.

There are also links at the site to a usenet discussion of the frog floating experiement. This could be the same info that I saw on CNN (minus the white rat).

Well last night, for about half an hour or so, a page entitled Christian media appeared on my website before I finally cooled down and removed it. I hope that no one read it. It was close to midnight, so probably not. If you did read it, please forget it. Those of you who have read my story page, will recall that I posted 'witness' verses from the book of Acts an introduction. Over the last few weeks I have been making myself depressed by watching streaming Christian media over the internet and last night I heard those 'A Witness' Bible verses from the book of Acts one to many times (followed by an attack on Satan the Devil, the implication being that he is my dark Lord). Let's just say that I rose and took the bait, which is never smart. Those 'a witness' Bible verses just provoked me to wrath, and then another show came on, and I won't go on about it. I hit the roof. In the future I have made up my mind that I am not watching any more Christian media since it has a deleterious effect on my health, as is obvious by how depressed I have been feeling the last couple of weeks. I will just go back to my old policy of ignoring them and getting on with my business and let them be 'a witness' by themselves.

In order to strengthen my essay on the Virgin Birth a little more, I added more passages which indicate that multiple traditions exist in the Bible, and that includes multiple traditions which purport to explain and describe Christ. We are all familiar with the 'Gospel of John' version of Christ and the theological position which states that you must 'believe on me and thou shalt be saved' (and consequently 'even the unsaved good burn in hell' for not doing that one required work of salvation). As I note in my discussion of the two versions of the Abraham story the scriptures do not only teach 'believe in me and thou shalt be saved." For, "What if some did not believe? Will their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God. Certainly not." (Romans 3:3) "For God is the savior of everyone, but especially of those who believe." (1 Timothy 4:10) Those of you who are looking for a more reasonable version of Christianity can consider collecting the verses from these alternate (and ignored) traditions and using them instead. (Call it another public service from yours truly.)

I am starting to get behind on my email, but this morning I don't feel to bright, so I think I will just try and get caught up on my link exchanges and my link sites.

In my checking around at search engines I find that sometimes a page of mine will come up in the top ten, and other times my page will be buried down on the fourth or fifth page. (For Biblical terms there seems to be a search engine war on between the Biblical Infallible Inerrancy Churches and Infidels.org - a notable Atheist site.) The way to move up in the search engines is to link, link, link. So in my relentless pursuit of link exchange, I am exchanging links with the following site. You will find links to two different points of view regarding the Bible and UFOs on this page from opposite sides of the fence, which is an interesting mix.

Hi Brent Just wonderred if you had a point of entry and index page for your material most of which looks good. l would like to exchange links with you putting your link on my http://www.colsweb.com/offsite.htm.

You need only link to http://www.awitness.org/. Thanks...

And I have also done a link swap with the 'Save the World' website (by the way, this is not a religious website, but rather it seems to be run by some idealistic young people).

And there is more, but tommorrow is another day. I am exhausted...

A link to an interview with Betty Hill (who promotes 'a common sense approach' to UFOs).
