Eden Watch Shauvot - Pentecost 2002





On The Eden Watch page 3, I was tracking a cloud bank that crossed the coean from South America as well as a thunderstorm system in the middle of Eden. The sequence below updates what follows and covers the period from the 14th to the evening of the 16th of May, 2002, which is also the beginning of the Jewish Holiday of Shauvot (equivalent to the Christian 'Pentecost', which is on Sunday the 19th). As the cloud height sequence below indicates, the clouds are towering thunderclouds with the whitest of them being over 12 kilometers in height (supercells or thunderstorm clouds). The storm in the center of Eden disappated, and now the cloud bank from South America has pushed onto the desert from the west over the course of the last several days...

Not much on top for Pentecost. From the West some more water vapor (top image) is heading east towards Eden and there is a system tugging water vapor from the African jungle east towards Iran, but both of these systems will not have any effect until sometime later next week. At present the cloud height image (bottom) shows only one small thunderstorm system in the West of Eden...
