Defining ‘orthodoxy’ : Murderer Theology and the Theology of Exile

Orthodoxy

‘Orthodox Christian theology’ is a combination of what I would call ‘murderer theology’ and the theological rationalizations required to excuse and also to make sense of the experience of exile. The exile is the end product of ‘torture justification theology’, which attempts to justify the practice of crucifixion. It accomplishes this by whitewashing the role of Caesar and his Roman slave state as crucifiers, since the Christian crucifix belonged to those people, and by extolling the pseudo piety of the ‘humble sinner’, and the claim that ‘Christ died for my sin’ by ‘taking my place upon the cross’ this novel and very creative invention is able to neutralize the Christian crucifix and in this way religion was able to normalize the practice of torture. This sort of thing was important to those right wing types who supported Caesar and Roman Imperialism, and who were therefore found the cross to be inconvenient.

The solution to this problem that confronted the Roman religious right was found in the novel combining of the Leviticus cow murder ritual employed as a template to interpret the murderer theology of some guilty Pharisee named Paul. So called ‘orthodox doctrine’ did not hatch whole from some egg at one specific point in time but rather it evolved over time, and once the exile of the church began as the appropriate response to all this devious theological mumbling, further innovations were made over the centuries so as to combine this cow murder theology and torture justification theology with exile rationalization theology, which then taught people that they must not be saved in this world but rather that their god was the god of the dead, and that all salvation had to wait for what was called the next world, where the salvation denied to people in this world would be lavished upon liberated ghosts.

We can see then that even ‘orthodoxy’ is a form of ‘liberation theology’, in this case the liberation of ghosts. As for the sinful and dirty flesh, that would not be liberated, but rather it would be enslaved. The important thing then was to concentrate one’s efforts on ‘getting your soul saved’ so as to get ready for the sumptuous banquet salvation and liberation awaiting your ghost in the next world and not in this one. Therefore it was required that given that salvation has been pushed off into the land of the dead ruled over by the god of the dead, it was required that in this world people remain upon the job, and that they do a good job so that the time came for the Church Jesus to perform one his routine quality inspections the product would be certified as Grade A, thus ensuring a fat pay cheque up in ghost heaven and lots of pie in the sky when you die to make up for any short fall in wages down here.

This way of looking at the world does require that the theology of the cross be replaced by the theology of religion, and one of the consequences of serving Pharoah and of saving Caesar is that it can now be said of the church that she was no Moses. The peculiar theology of liberation preached by that exiled church could best be summed up in these passages which were canonized and thus declared to be ‘the word of a god’ :

"Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, in singleness of heart, as you obey Christ; not only while being watched, and in order to please them, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. Render service with enthusiasm, as to the Lord and not to men and women, knowing that whatever good we do, we will receive the same again from the Lord, whether we are slaves or free." " Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything, not only while being watched and in order to please them, but wholeheartedly, fearing the Lord. Whatever your task, put yourselves into it, as done for the Lord and not for your masters, since you know that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you serve the Lord Christ." "Let all who are under the yoke of slavery regard their masters as worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and the teaching may not be blasphemed. Those who have believing masters must not be disrespectful to them on the ground that they are members of the church; rather they must serve them all the more, since those who benefit by their service are believers and beloved. Teach and urge these duties." "Tell slaves to be submissive to their masters and to give satisfaction in every respect; they are not to talk back, not to pilfer, but to show complete and perfect fidelity, so that in everything they may be an ornament to the doctrine of God our Savior. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all, training us to renounce impiety and worldly passions, and in the present age to live lives that are self-controlled, upright, and godly, while we wait for the blessed hope and the manifestation of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ." "Slaves, accept the authority of your masters with all deference, not only those who are kind and gentle but also those who are harsh. For it is a credit to you if, being aware of God, you endure pain while suffering unjustly."

Murderer Theology

The first component in creating what is allegedly ‘orthodox’ theology consists of the experiential contributions of a guilty murderous Pharisee, known as Paul. ‘Christ died for Paul’s sin’ for, you see, Paul was a murderous Pharisee, and thus was guilty of crucifying Yeshua (Jesus) and so in a manner of speaking we could say that the Christ bore Paul’s sin in his own body. The experience of the cross as seen through the lens provided by a blood stained killer thus permeates all the theological musings and reflections of this Paul, for that was his experience, and so therefore such ideas as ‘payment for sin’ and ‘ransoms paid for sinners’ are found to permeate his theological musings on the subject.. If his experience would have been different his writings would have been different, but they were not and so he wrote what he wrote.

Now there is nothing wrong with a guilty blood soaked murderous religious fanatic later writing theological reflections upon the experience of being a convicted killer. That was his experience. The problem comes later when that dogmatic thing known as ‘religion’ ignorantly expropriates these writings, declares them to be ‘orthodox’ and then declares that was actually the subjective description of a personal experience must now be accepted as an irrefutable description of objective reality, and thus binding upon everyone, whether they be a murderous dogmatic Pharisee themselves or not.

I am sure that everyone has been subject to that form of psychological assault known as ‘preaching the gospel’. The process resembles one of those good cop/bad cop routines, where the bad cop threatens to fry you upon a barbeque while the good cop promises salvation, and the whole point of that high pressure thumb screw operation under the blinding bright lights is to extort a confession of murder out of some suspect. You see those two cops know damn well that you are guilty, but then, isn’t everyone guilty? If you crack under the pressure and sign the confession then you are sent off to Kangaroo Court where you are promptly convicted of your sin and that the judge then notices that someone already bled to death and thus paid the price for your sin much as someone might pay off your credit card for you. You then become the recipient of what is called ‘Grace’. This ‘grace’ allows you get off the hook for being a murderous Pharisee who killed that church Jesus if you agree to go through all the formalities of signing a confession for those two cops running that extortion racket thus allowing a god to bleed to death on the cross to pay off your credit card, which would then bring liberation, but not immediately, for the church only liberates ghosts. The only benefit you will receive in this life is that you will no longer be kept awake all night for days and weeks on end by those cops until you do sign the damn paper. All this will then leave you singing praises to God (‘Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, which saved a wretch like you.’).

We can see here that the first problem of alleged ‘orthodox theology’ is the ignorant confusion caused by an inability to distinguish between the subjective experience of one individual murderous Pharisee and a description of objective reality, and these two things are not equivalent. Ojective reality is the object while the individual who experiences this reality is the subject, and for this reason the theology of the individual is subjective since the experience of an objective reality is filtered through the experience of the individual, so that when we hear an individual describing their experience when encountering objective reality we are actually looking at the objective reality through a distorting lens. The only solution to this problem would be to amass a larger body of such subjective descriptions which then might allow us to discount the effect of all those distorting lenses and get a more accurate picture of the objective reality which lies hidden behind a distorting smog cloud of highly subjective descriptions of experiences.

The problem is compounded when this narrow focus upon murderer theology to the exclusion of the experience of the remainder of the human race (for not everyone is a religious fanatic) is then used as the justification for the defense of torture and thus the rehabilitation of Caesar and the white washing of the oppressions of the Roman state. This is accomplished through the perversion and distortion of that murderer theology, which is valid when it is the sincere experience of some repentant Pharisee, but becomes transformed into heresy when it is declared to be singular and orthodox. In just this way what has been declared ‘orthodox’ is revealed as heresy for it is heresy to declare the subjective to be the objective, for that is not the truth, but rather is a way of hiding and distorting the truth.

The way this justification of torture is accomplished is to say that ‘Yeshua died for my sin…he paid the price for my sin in his own body on the cross…the punishment I deserved he bore on his body.’ Therefore I deserve to be crucified. We all do. Torture is normalized by so called ‘Christian orthodoxy’ and it then logically follows that it was God who gave Caesar the sword to control all those ‘original sinners’. You see God was going on vacation for a couple of thousand years, and in God’s absence Caesar was appointed to rule and reign and to facilitate this God gave Caesar the right to use the sword, and since the death penalty is the death penalty no matter how it is inflicted, it must also have been true that God gave Caesar the right to crucify.

This then explains the long exile of the church, for if you are going to justify torture you are going to be going into exile, and the only possible escape from this judgment would be if it were true that the Living God approved of torture theology and thus approved of having people attend church. If God went to church that would be an encouragement of the practice, and it would also be true that if God did not attend church for a couple of thousand years that would tend to promote atheism and thus discourage church attendance.

. When the church was cut off from the presence of the Living God it then followed that the god of the church became the god of the dead. This was obvious since there was no god to be found at church, and since it was required that this experience of exile be normalized, it must have been true that this god wished to be the god of the dead. Therefore it was required that the church normalize the salvation of only the ghosts of the dead while making it appear perfectly normal that the Living God did not attend church for that apparently was part of the divine plan, which being a divine plan was also deeply mysterious and thus marvelous to behold. The alternative to all this transparent mumbo jumbo would be to acknowledge the sin of that church and to acknowledge the reality of the exile. Since this was anathema to her theologians, and since her many doctors kept giving her a clean bill of health, the result was the development of the theology of exile. According to this invention, the god of the dead only appeared briefly in the distant past, just long enough to author a book known as ‘the word of the god’ after which time the god of the dead went on a long vacation and did no more deeds in the land of the living, which was not a total loss, since full documentation was left behind and entrusted to the church.

The task assigned to the church was to ‘save souls’ (and not to save bodies by rescuing a body from the crucifix). The god of the dead was waiting for people up in a place called ‘heaven’ where ghosts would go when they died, provided that they were baptized, and thus washed of their original sin. The reason why there was no God of the Living was that this god was holy, very holy, and thus could not be found mixing with original sinners, and this caused a great divide to open between humanity and this god which was now the god of the dead. The only bridge over this divide was the blood sacrifice of a sinless god who would die a sacrificial death like a murdered cow upon a crucifix. Salvation would take the form of a cruel guessing game, wherein people would be required to read old dried out documents and then they would have to ‘make a decision for Christ’, which involved guessing correctly whether or not there was a real god. If they guessed right, when the ghost left their sinful body upon death it would go up to live in ghost heaven forever with this god of the dead, but if it guessed wrongly it would go down to spend eternity being tortured on a barbeque, since as we already know, according to church doctrine, torture is normative and salvation is exceptional.

Principles of Evolution: A Study in the Evolution of Bedbugs

A couple of years ago my bedroom was invaded by bedbugs. There were two variant genetic lines. One type of bedbug was an enlongated, thin, tubular insect, and the second genetic line was a flat, perfectly circular insect. The result of the cross breeding of these two genetically distinct variants was the production of a bedbug with charcteristics of both, an enlongated, flat bedbug with a central bulge (such that the shape of the bedbug was somewhere between 'long' and 'circular'). The long skinny bedbugs were such strange and unfamiliar looking insects that at first I did not recognize them as being bedbugs, and considered them to be a seperate species of insect. However, as the photographs of bedbugs above indicate, enlongated and skinny bedbugs are not uncommon, and the photographs also show the variants that are produced by genetic combinations that result in an insect somewhere in between 'circular' and 'enlongated'.

Therefore it is my hypothesis that evolution occurs by means of the transfer of dominate genes, with the production of such dominant genes being the product of 'biological algorithms', a genetic software program that brings physical characteristics into harmony with behavior, such that when behavior changes, and a conflict then exists, this acts as a trigger and causes the release of dominant genes. The result is rapid evolution of species. The bedbug is a relatively new insect, not the product of millions of years of evolution but rather an insect that is evolving in real time. The newly emerging dominant form of the insect is the flat, round ciruclar insect, well adapted to living in human bedrooms (it is flat, rather than tubular, thus allowing it to hide in the smallest cracks, living a stealthy lifestyle, and it is round, which gives the insect a maximum storage capacity such that it must endanger itself only a few times a month by emerging to feed.

Other examples of rapid evolution include the development of long legs in an invasive species of toad in Australia. As the toads move into the mountainous regions of Australia, and their behvaior changes, making them 'climbing toads', over the course of just a couple of decades the toads in the highlands have grown long legs specially adapted to climbing. It is worth noting here that the toads are poisonous, and are a successful invasive species because they have no natural predators in Australia, and so it would not be the case that the toads with long legs were 'the fittest survivors', because all the toads are survivors, and therefore predation does not explain the rapid emergence and spread of such well adapted, long legged toads. Once again we see evidence for the existence of biological algorithms and the rapid spread of dominant genes through a population, which once introduced proceed to overwhelm the older genes which are being replaced (making toad long legged and a bed bug round and flat).

A Theological Experiment

My interest in pursuing the Unified Field Theory is spurred on by my need to discover the theoretical explanation of a new form of propulsion (as explained on this page: Why the Unified Field Theory?). The experiment involving the bedbugs came out of nowhere.

I also believe that it is possible to justify theological propositions using experimental methods. If a thing is an objective truth then it can be verified and proven true by means of experimentation. Such a theological proposition is of more value than a ‘divine revelation’, since such revelations depend upon nothing more than establishing authority figures which requires the creation of artificial hierarchies, for the only reason why I might be encouraged to believe an authority figure who orders me to believe unsubstantiated opinions is if I could somehow be convinced that this authority possessed a mind that was somehow superior to mine, and thus was fit to express opinions as though opinions were unquestionable facts and thus worthy of being elevated to the status of absolute dogma.

There is a self evident human inequality which is visibly apparent. Some people are ‘beautiful’ and thus are the true elite on this planet, and some people are not. It is this sexual inequality and the degeneration that follows upon beauty that is the true driving force behind all the evil that happens on earth. The need for ruthless oppression and the pursuit of wealth and the consequent creation of suffering and poverty which must follow upon this practice is for the purpose of creating an artificial alpha elite.

The true elites are the young and the beautiful. The artificial elite are the rich and the wealthy. The elite aging rich artificial alpha male has no good looks, for he is physically degenerate, but he will be found escorting beauty because he has a beautiful wallet. If he loses his wallet he will be found at home with all the other unattractive aged beta males sitting in a rocking chair watching reruns of Bonanza. No money, no sex. It is for this reason that the alpha males are found to be so ruthless and so violent in pursuit of their goal. The alpha male has fallen. The beta male has arisen and now the whole planet is full of ruinous destruction for it.

We see in religion a confused and contradictory reaction to this reality. On the one hand religion preaches a sexless heaven where castration and the clitorectomy create ‘pure spirits’. Muslims throw women under sacks. On the other hand religion supports hierarchy and is the prop of the elite alpha male. It is for this reason that religion is incoherent when it comes to speaking about sex.

Now we see this same principle at work in all of nature. Guppies dance and show off their colorful tails and the guppy who dances with the most colorful tail is the sexually successful guppy. Therefore it is the doctrine of the ruthless oppressor which teaches that the solution to human sexual violence is to be found in castration and the creation of pure ghosts. This would be equivalent to damning an aardvark for having the ‘sinful aardvark nature’ or prosecuting an anteater for the high crime of ‘ant genocide’.

Therefore it was my theological hypothesis that the correct solution to this problem is to give every guppy a beautiful colorful tail. I compare this solution to the classic religious solution which is to cut off every tail since having a tail is ‘sinful’. If having a tail is sinful then God must be sinful for no human being has any choice in deciding whether or not they would be born with a colorful tail, or whether they would not.

When I was young I was a beautiful guppy with a lovely tail. So everyone seemed to think. I am older now. My nose became very badly sunburned and destroyed. It seemed good to me to test my hypothesis by using these ‘biological algorithms’ to correct this problem. I healed half my nose as you can see by the line separating the still very dark patch on the side in the photograph below.

I documented my experiment on these pages. one two t hree four fi ve six

I have confirmed to my own satisfaction that my theological proposition is correct and that religious dogma is erroneous, being based as it was upon nothing more than ‘divine revelation’ which is just a form of opinionated speculation. For the time being I am not continuing this experiment, for I must wait until the weather on this planet improves, and the dark clouds of ruthless oppression break letting a little sun shine come through so that I can show the world the truth about God, by showing people how God goes about giving an old guppy back his beautiful colorful tail.

Until then I will have to sit on the sidelines, while all my scientific breakthroughs are deliberately ignored, while I wonder to myself what ever in the world could be wrong with the human race, because what this all will prove at the end of it all is that there definitely was something wrong with the people on this planet.
