Liberty

If you are part of the remnant then it follows that you must understand that you live in liberty. You are free to do as you please. You are free to be a human being. Keep in mind here that the doctrine of ‘original sin’ serves the purpose of forgiving the church for exile by condemning the human race. Someone must be blamed for the long exile from the presence of God. If religion is not to blame then the fault must be laid upon the backs of humanity like a heavy yoke. According to religion to be human is to be evil and sinful, and therefore people are alienated from a very holy God because of their inherently inborn sinful nature. This would then explain why we have religion but we have no God in the world. The god of this religion is the god of the dead, not the living, because sinful human nature, religion teaches us, has separated humanity from God. The only solution therefore is for religion to place a heavy yoke of corrective rules and regulations upon the necks of the human race so as to keep them from any more sinning so that they can be purified by religion and then meet up with this distant and remote god of the dead on the other side of the grave.

Now if you are the remnant you understand that this is pure bullshit and that it is in fact religion which is the ‘original sin’ and because what God wants is not what religion preaches therefore she has become a divorced whore. (You can read a recent frustrated post on this matter here. To give you the short version, if you are as yet unaware of these things, if portraying God as baby killing butcher and the ally of rapists and murderous thieves is holy, then the Bible is certainly holy, which would then make the church, which has canonized the Bible, holy as well, otherwise she would be guilty of blasphemy. You would therefore expect her to be living as a divorcee, for you see, if God was married to her it would be an encouragement of her conduct, whereas if she is dispatched to the black pit, it would be a discouragement, or at least one would hope so. Apparently it is not, for a church can spend a couple of thousand years in the black pit of ruthless exile and still be playing the whore in her advanced old age.

Now let me get off this topic, because I have told myself that I am not going to think about that stupid church nonsense which will then cause me to get very angry and go off topic. However, if you are the remnant then it is important that you understand these simple common sense truths if you are to have any hope at all of actually understanding the world and avoid that hypocritical pit known as ‘the divine mysteries of God’ wherein so many religious people are found wallowing as they pretend that no one can understand the supposed mysterious conduct of God (etc, etc, etc).

Now to get back on topic here , as I was saying, you are at liberty, and it is okay to be a human being. It is to enjoy this liberty that you are being set free and so therefore do not allow yourself to be yoked again to that form of slavery known as ‘religion’.

Consider the bedbug. The insect we know as the bedbug was once a flying bug, but because, like all God’s creatures, the bedbug lives in a state of complete liberty, this insect was free to transform itself from a flying bug into a bedbug so that it could bite you at five in the morning when you are sound asleep in your bed. You might think this to be one hell of a bad idea, and I would not disagree, but the bedbug has adopted this mode of behavior as a survival strategy and so therefore to the bedbug it seems like a good idea. In any case it was better than going extinct.

All God’s creatures enjoy the same liberty we see being expressed in the transformation of the bedbug. However it is worth noting here that liberty comes with a price. A flying bug will be found out in the environment, while a bedbug will be found living in less stimulating surroundings, such as a crack in your wall. I have often thought that the life of a bedbug must be extremely boring as compared to the much more stimulating environment in which a flying bug will be found to live, but living secretly in some crack or some crevice is part of the price that insect was required to pay if it was going to become a bedbug.

So then the point to be made here is that you are liberty, and you can do as you please, provided that you are prepared to accept the consequences of your actions. You are free to do anything, but there are some things you might want to avoid.

Now because actions have consequences, there are some kind and very thoughtful souls out there that might want to place you under the law, with the rationale being that it is for your own protection. I would rather see you stumble and fall and skin your knees from time to time, so that you might live under grace rather than be found living enslaved under the law. The purpose of such law is to create authority so that you might submit to authority, and there is no authority, for all forms of authority are artificial constructs designed to bring you into a state of submission so that you will consent to being exploited by those who will then be called ‘the powerful’. Systems of exploitation come disguised as law intended for your own well being and protection, since it would be less effective for authority to be promulgated on the basis of exploitation.

Now let us consider a contemporary example. Let us suppose that there were these two lesbians who wanted to ‘marry’. If they were to consult the law or seek the consent of the authority, then they under law and not under grace. They are not living in liberty but rather have come under the yoke of religion and its laws and regulations. If they were part of the remnant, and they understood that they were human and that they were at liberty then they would be considered part of the remnant for they understood the liberty of grace, but if they did not understand these things, and instead needed to consult the Bible or some other supposed authority they would be under law, and not under grace, which would make them religious and not part of the remnant.

Let us consider a second example. Let us suppose that a gay man wants to visit all the bars and with a lot of perseverance he wishes to sleep with one thousand men. Certainly he would be at liberty to do so, for we see people doing what they wish all the time, but he would also run the risk of dropping dead somewhere in the middle of that project. We could place him under law with the argument being that it was for his own good, but then he would be under law rather than being at liberty, and where one person is not at liberty soon enough no one is at liberty for where one person is placed under law everyone is placed under the curse of the law. For that reason it would be better that all people be at liberty even if liberty for some means death, in the worst case scenario, or perhaps skinned knees and other painful mishaps.

Shall we say then that ‘there is no law’ and that therefore everyone is at liberty. Certainly there is law. If you were to step off a cliff you would then come under the law of gravity. Trespassing this law would not be a good idea. If you are ugly to other people, you can expect other people to respond to your ugliness in an appropriate manner, and you should not be surprised if you found that God was intent on being ugly with you as well. If you do not enjoy a thing then we should expect that you would not inflict such pain on someone else. If you are at liberty to do such a thing then it certainly follows that they are also at liberty to respond appropriately and this would be lawful. You, who violated the law, would not be under grace in this instance, but rather under law, and rightfully so.

So then that there is law is just simple common sense, and it should also be simple common sense that where there is no need for law there should be no needless infringement of liberty, no violation of grace, which would be the result of imposing worthless law and then establishing the supposed authority, the only purpose of which would be to bring humanity under a yoke of slavery to worthless law, a practice which would only serve to justify authority and the oppression and exploitation which would be the end result of the creation of the enslavi ng yoke of worthless religious law.
