The leadership of the NCC just made an appearance at Crawford, Texas, at the vigil of Cindy Sheehan..

Edgar said the purpose of their visit to the mothers "is not political or partisan. Anyone who would suggest that vastly underestimates the pain these sisters feel." He said he expected the President to meet with the women "because he is a good man who knows it is the right and compassionate thing to do. The President has said he is also pained by the tragedy of death and injury in war, and our pastoral advice is to him is that he will be greatly strengthened by this opportunity for dialogue with those who have made the sacrifice."This will also be an opportunity for the President to articulate more clearly the rationale for the war. Polls show that millions of Americans are unclear about that rationale. Nearly 12,000 persons have written to the National Council of Churches' FaithfulAmerica to express their profound doubts about the war."But today the focus is on Cindy and Celeste and other mothers who gave all to a war they are increasingly unable to understand. Their meeting with President Bush, which I fully expect to happen soon, will be an important part of their healing.""It was a very appropriate service," said retired UMC Bishop Joe Wilson, who read Scripture. "It was like a love feast."

The NCC is also supporting a bipartisan resolution calling for members of Congress to withdraw American troops from Iraq.

The National Council of Churches USA has welcomed bi-partisan legislation introduced in Congress today urging President Bush "to announce a plan for the withdrawal of all U.S. forces from Iraq by the end of the year. In a recent op-ed piece sent to U.S. media, Edgar and two other peace activists stressed the importance of a resolution that clarifies U.S. policy on when the war will end."It is of the utmost importance for the U.S. Congress to make this official. A declaration would ease growing concerns about U.S. imperial ambitions in the region and fears that the U.S. desires to secure the region's oil fields against the growing energy appetites of China and India," the op-ed piece said.

The NCC also issued the following statement on the London Bombings

The mass transit bombings in London Thursday will not advance the cause of terrorists, the National Council of Churches said, and will only strengthen the resolve of those who are attacked. NCC General Secretary Bob Edgar released the following statement Thursday:"The National Council of Churches joins in prayer for those who were injured and offers its sympathy to those who lost loved ones in the mass transit bombings in London today. Such violence reminds us not only of our need to be ever vigilant and to bring the perpetrators to justice; it also reminds us of our need to strenuously pursue peace with justice. While we recognize that religion is sometimes used to legitimize such acts of violence, we together with other mainstream religious organizations, including many in the Muslim community, thoroughly and unequivocally condemn such violence and enjoin all religious communities to pursue peace in a thousand ways."

Questions

Cindy Sheehan

Sheehan has been heavily censored by the media system of the United Soviets, uh, pardon me, the United States, since it is a truism that ‘freedom of the press' does not exist in the United States, since you cannot have this freedom of the press without having a socialized press which would then tell the truth instead of telling us the capitalist corporate agenda, which is what happens when the so called ‘free press' becomes a victim of the so called ‘free market' (which is another one of those Orwellian falsehoods, but at this time I won't carry on about the total lack of freedom experienced by the majority under such a system of enslavement).

Sheehan's true position, as far as I have been able to discover it through bypassing Big Brother and that pair of snipping scissors, is that the war in Iraq is an aggressive war of Imperialist Colonialism and the true goal of the war is to steal Iraq's Oil Wells. She wants an International War Crimes trial to be held and says that she hopes that Bush and the rest of them ‘go to jail' (her quote). She is asking Bush to ‘explain the reasons for the war' not so that she can ‘heal her pain' but as part of a protest strategy to illustrate that when the powers that be are confronted they have nothing to say, which is just the point, or, if they choose they can invent another fable to explain their presence in Iraq, thus dodging the truth one more time. If Bush talks to the woman, which he will not, for obvious reasons, he will only be able to repeat his past string of lies and perjury, unless one of his spin doctors comes up with something we haven't already heard before. In that case, Cindy wins, and if Bush does not come out to talk to her, not having much to say for himself, once again Cindy wins, and her point is made.

Considering all the above, why does it appear to be the case that the chief concern of the NCC is ‘healing Cindy'. Is it the hope of the leadership of the NCC that if ‘Cindy heals' then War Crimes Trials can be avoided and we can all just pretend that this never happened?

Good hearted people

Speaking of Justice Sunday, Edgars stated : "Love God with all your heart, mind and soul, and love your neighbor as yourself.. I can't think of a member of the House, Senate or judiciary -- regardless of of their political philosophy -- who doesn't believe that in some way, either as an article of faith or a matter of personal commitment." And we also know that he told the women at Crawford that Bush was a very good hearted person as well, no doubt as part of that agenda of the NCC to heal those women, and thus save our good hearted legislators from prosecution for their crimes..

This leads me to ask the NCC the following questions. Have you heard of Fallujah? It used to be a city in Iraq. Have you heard about the destroyed infrastructure of Iraq? Have you heard of the International War Crimes Laws? Have you heard about the changing of Iraq's legal system and constitution, which are illegal war crimes. Perhaps you hard about the armed robbery, uh, pardon me, the privatization of Iraq's assets that took place under Bremer, followed by the just recent armed robbery of Iraq's Oil Wells that took place under the cover of the London Bombing, and as far as I can tell, still has not been reported by the media, since the logic is supposed to go, they were busy with the London Bombing at the time, and thus the Oil robbery story got buried at the time. If they aren't busy right now, things having quieted down a bit, they could demonstrate some of that same lovely ‘freedom of the press' they are granting to Cindy Sheehan by reporting on this armed robbery in Iraq. If they won't do it, maybe the NCC will do it, although that is starting to seem more and more likely as the days go by and I listen to your flawed policy statements. So therefore, I will do it myself. It might also be good to be a witness to the outrage in Iraq, and if camera crews will not interview average Iraqis so they can express their outrage at the robbery of their Oil Wells by those capitalists on Wall Street, well then just I speak out for the Bolivians by repeating that armed robber story they have to tell, I will inform people about the story of the Iraqi people as well.

So then I ask the following questions to the NCC. Why does the NCC consistently take stands of solidarity with the oppressor while not giving voice to the oppressed? Why is the NCC constantly found trying to save the ass of some congressman or some senator or some judge, while at the same time it would appear that NCC hopes to ‘heal' the oppressed, which is just another way to keep them quiet? This leads me to wonder if the NCC has an impeachment process in place to remove the leadership, since I assume that this is the problem. Edgars, for example, we are told, is an ex-congressman, and it is my opinion that he should go back to congress, since his solidarity lies with those people, and he appears to have that same degenerate moral sensibility so characteristic of a congressman, and therefore he belongs there, and not at the top running some church.

Hypocrisy

The statement on the London bombings just reeks of hypocrisy. To paraphrase that statement : The bombings in Iraq will not advance the cause of Wall Street or of their obedient servants in Washington, but only serve to strengthen the resolve of the Iraqis who have been attacked. I join in prayer for all those who have been injured and those who have lost loved ones in the mass bombings that have taken place in Iraq. Such violence reminds us all of the need to be ever vigilant, and rather than trying to 'heal Cindy', we should bring the perpetrators of this crime to justice.

Once again we see hidden in this statement, more expressions of solidarity with the system of oppression. Is it the policy position of the NCC to allow the powerful to walk free when they have broken the law while vigorously pursuing the average citizen with the forces of ‘justice'. It is quite common for the NCC to hypocritically claim to be giving the ‘prophetic voice' to the people. A person could only believe such a statement to be true if they never actually heard ‘the prophetic voice' and thus could be deceived into believing that the muddled, middle of the road, upside down witness of the NCC is the same thing as ‘the prophetic voice'.

Speaking of lawlessness ‘the prophetic voice' stated : ‘The earth mourns and withers, the world languishes and withers; the heavens languish together with the earth. The earth lies polluted under its inhabitants; for they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the covenant. Therefore a curse devours the earth, and its inhabitants suffer for their guilt; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are scorched, and few men are left." Here the prophet uses poetic language to describe the destruction that fills the earth when lawlessness is allowed to run amock as it does today, but however, today, given the new strategy of developing ‘useable battle field nukes' and ‘bunker buster nukes' and so on, we can see that in our times we can take this allegory literally, for truly the earth will be scorched, and what was once metaphor can now be taken literally.

Speaking of how you deal with lawless power, the ‘prophetic voice' stated : " For he has brought low the inhabitants of the height, the lofty city. He lays it low, lays it low to the ground, casts it to the dust, so that the feet of the poor and needy may trample it into the ground." Based on the policy of the NCC, I can see that not only do you not give voice to the oppressed, you also seem to be in a big hurry to make sure that their feet do not trample your beloved Washington into the dust.

As for corrupt leadership that has been caught in blood shed and theft, the ‘prophetic voice' stated : "Judge the cause of the poor and needy. Is not this to know me? says YAHWEH.But you have eyes and heart only for your dishonest robbery, for shedding innocent blood, and for practicing oppression and violence." Therefore thus says YAHWEH concerning the King: "They shall not lament for him, saying, ‘Oh no! my brother!' They shall not lament for him, saying, ‘Oh no! his majesty!' With the burial of an ass he shall be buried, dragged and cast forth beyond the gates." I would assume that the only one to be in mourning on that day would the leadership of the NCC, who are, after all, promulgating policies that are not the voice of the people, but rather express solidarity with powerful criminals and crooks, and so no doubt they will cry out ‘oh no, my brother' or ‘alas your majesty."

And speaking of the priests and ministers who hold to the powerful elites just as one might cling to their lover, clinging to them until the very day that the powerful are brought down, the ‘prophetic voice' stated : " I spoke to you in your prosperity, but you said, ‘I will not listen.' This has been your way from your youth, that you have not obeyed my voice. The whirlwind shall shepherd all the shepherds, and your lovers shall go into captivity; then you will be ashamed and confounded because of all your wickedness."

Let me conclude by asking the following question. Does the NCC ever intend to express solidarity for the citizens of Fallujah, as just one example of this sort of thing. As we know London lost a few subway cars and New York lost a couple of buildings to a terror attack, but the terror attack on Fallujah cost them their entire city. The stinking hypocrisy of listening to this stinking chatter about ‘bringing terrorists to justice' is obvious, and requires no comment, and I will just ask the NCC to clarify the matter for me...just what is your position? What is your policy? And just as an aside, when you formulate those flawed and offensive policies of yours, could you stop blaming it on "Jesus' or the ‘prophets' and would you stop claiming to be a ‘prophetic voice' when it is quite obvious you are nothing of the sort, but rather you are a voice intended to co-opt and nullify the prophetic voice, in the hopes of replacing it with that muddled and maudlin middle of the road voice of your own.

A broken covenant

As we should all know, the Constitution of the United States has been shattered beyond the point of utter ruin by these crooks and criminals posing as Congressmen and Senators and Presidents and Cabinets and such, while the courts collude by doing their usual thing of just going along with it all. As anyone would know, the courts have a long history of criminal injustice in the United States, and are oppressive instruments of whatever injustice might be prevailing at the time, only changing when they sense that perhaps the public might no loose their ‘respect' for the judicial system, at which time they change.

I won't go on and on and on here, since the violations of the law are quite well known to everyone, and must be quite well known to the NCC as well. I will just remind you that every single one of those International War Crimes laws has been shattered, and according to your constitution, these are also the laws of the land in the United States of America. In addition the Constitution of the United States supposedly protects the American people from the predations of a police state, but this has not stopped your government from trampling those provisions under their feet as well, and they have further depredations coming down the pipe even worse than what we have so far seen.

Now given that the Constitution of the United States is a kind of covenant between that government in Washington and the people of the United States, and given how the government has now shattered that covenant, I therefore state that there no longer exists any government in the United States, but rather the American people are now a people with no legitimate government. What passes for a government in that lawless place is best thought of as a dangerous parasite on the body of America, or perhaps a perilously dangerous predator stalking the American people, using the most flimsy pretexts and every sort of imaginable hypocrisy as an excuse to set up the world's most evil system of oppression. The reasons for this are obvious, and can be seen in the ongoing destruction of the American economy by those capitalists on Wall Street, who are sitting on big stacks of cash, and are worried about those stacks. What we have here is a government by the capitalists, for the capitalists, and of the capitalists. It has ceased to be a government of the people long ago, and is now entering into its most virulently criminal stage. All this criminality and all the perjury and deliberate deception, all the bloodshed and murder that goes along with it, has taken place despite the fact that the leaders are all wonderful people who in their own way love God and their neighbours and so on, or so Edgars has told is the case.

Now given that the covenant has been shattered and there is no longer a government in existence in the United States, I want to ask the NCC if they are going to carry on with their policy of making appeals to that invalid and criminal body as though that were a government. Does lawless criminality mean so little to you people? Does a shattered covenant mean nothing to you people? As I said, Edgars should be impeached or fired and then sent back to Congress, since it would appear that this is where his solidarity has been placed, a practice he continues no matter how gross the crimes or how violent or sinister the attacks being launched from that place. Obviously that is where he properly belongs and so he should go back.

Ending the Iraq War

As you know, we can end the Iraq war ourselves, and do not need Congress or Bush to end the war. All we have to do is a mount a people's movement and get those soldiers in Iraq to refuse to obey any more of those criminal orders. It would also help to contact their mothers and families and friends, since some of those soldiers might have traumatic stress disorder and thus require some intervention to bring them back to reason. It would also be good to get those soldiers to make a note of the name of any officer who continues to give them orders to commit further war crimes in Iraq, so that in the near future those officers can face the International War Crimes tribunal.

So I ask the following questions. Would the NCC be in a big hurry to get congress to pull out of Iraq, out of fear that we might do it ourselves? Certainly the NCC is doing nothing to end the Iraq war, even though that is quite possible, other than making urgent pleas to a nonexistent government, so one must wonder how worried you are about the people learning this vitally important political lesson. It would seem you prefer systems of exploitation and are worried that people might learn how to escape this condition.

Under the International War Crimes laws, soldiers have the right, and indeed the duty, to refuse orders to participate in a criminal war. Your judges meanwhile, in violation of the Constitution, are locking up soldiers who stand on their rights, which, as I mentioned previously, is no surprise to me, given the history of that criminal injustice system in the United States. What is the position of the NCC on this issue?

Solicitation

As you would know for years now in your bought off media system, there have been voices crying out against the law, crying out for International War Crimes to be committed, trying to pollute the public mind with their filthy sermons crying out for law breaking and criminality, in particular condemning International Law over the air waves, which means they are also condemning the Constitution of the United States, and the laws of the land, as well as spewing out gross immorality and calls for violence and bloodshed and robbery, which is what this sort of chatter boils down at the end of it all, since International Law stands in the way of that project they are hawking over the airwaves.

Now given that, under the law, it is illegal to Solicit criminal behavior or advocate lawlessness, and given that this is also a form of Conspiracy to commit murder and theft, one can see how many of those media pundits instead of getting big money for their attempts to pollute the minds of the population with fascist nonsense, should be arrested and brought before the International War Crimes Tribunal to explain their conduct. We also know that under the law, someone like that Rupert Murdoch, a robber baron with a mind obviously set upon crime and blood shed, has for some perverse reason been allowed to concentrate a lot of media in his lawless hands, which once again brings us back to questioning that government of yours, which allows this because they want this sort of thing, which is obvious, given the projects they have in mind.

Therefore should not that robber baron also be facing prosecution for his criminality, since he pays for it all, and should he not forfeit his assets as well, since he is found to be in violation of the laws on possession of assets built up through a crime ring. I am well aware of the hypocrisy of those robber baron capitalists, who will no doubt want ‘compensation', as though someone expected to be paid for their crimes, and no doubt will also be demanding money for ‘lost future pillage and plunder', just as they have been wringing money out of the third world on that pretext when one of those privatization scams of theirs flops. Anyone with any common sense should be able to see through that idiotic ‘private property' argument of some criminal capitalist and be able to realize that they do not deserve ‘payment' for ‘services rendered', since you do not pay a crook for crimes nor do you ‘compensate' some crook should their illegal scam fall through.

As well, we must hold our nose while that corrupted media system and the nonexistent governments call out for the heavy prosecution of some Muslim preacher who apparently was preaching law breaking, since this sort of thing is only illegal when its inconvenient, but otherwise, it is to be encouraged, as you can tell from your media concentration laws.

What is the position of the NCC on this issue?

Impeachment

It has been my experience that those who are powerful never repent, and so I do not expect any improvements, and thus for that reason I am calling for the impeachment of the NCC leadership. I just today finished watching some Internet sermon broadcast by some ‘progressive minister' and I was appalled by the maudlin concerns of daily life being addressed in that sermon. I am determined to make a distinction here between the people and their shepherds. You ministers are going to be getting into trouble with me if you do not stop misleading these people. You are not the ‘voice of the people' but rather you appear to be an instrument to ‘shape opinions' and I don't care much for your shaping agenda.

Now as you know I am gaining considerable influence in the church, although from what I have seen, never at the top, only at the bottom. But there would be a reason for that, now wouldn't there. I am going to come up from below, and I am goin g to catch you people by surprise. You are making a big mistake in underestimating someone like me.
